Is your data actually migration-ready—or simply ready to extract?
Before moving legacy data into Oracle Fusion, three questions can reveal a lot about conversion readiness:
𝟏. Can it pass?
Is the data complete, valid and structured for the target?
𝟐. Can it map?
Does critical source data have a defined target, transformation rule and owner?
𝟑. Can you prove it?
Can the team validate that the right data arrived correctly after conversion?
These questions matter because a technically successful load doesn’t automatically mean the converted data is ready for the business.
Missing values, mapping gaps, invalid formats and unresolved exceptions are much easier to address during preparation and mock cycles than during production cutover.
The goal should be more than moving data from EBS to Fusion.
It should be creating a conversion process where data quality is visible, mappings are controlled, and results are repeatably validated.
